UOG celebrating first-generation college students November 21

Nearly one in three students at the University of Guam identify themselves as the first in their immediate family to pursue a four-year college education.

Each year, the nation celebrates first-generation college students. And here at UOG, Nov. 21, 2022, will mark the first official celebration of first-generation Tritons.

The celebration will be held at the Jesus and Eugenia Leon Guerrero School of Business and Public Administration Building, Room 129.

Dean Lawrence Camacho of Enrollment Management and Student Success, Senior Vice President and Provost Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez, and former SBPA Dean Dr. Annette Santos will be the special guest speakers for the event.

Student organizations will run booths in the SBPA atrium.
Refreshments are provided for students along with limited "I support First Generation Tritons" button pins for attendees while supplies last.
