The University of Guam Triton Men's Basketball Team lost their final game of the Triton Men's Basketball League regular season to Team OG on Saturday in the UOG Calvo Field House. Although the Tritons played a solid first half and battled through the third period, they lost momentum in the fourth quarter and lost to Team OG with a final score of 87-66.

After the first quarter, the Tritons trailed Team OG 18-17 and hung close by halftime — only down by six points, 44-38. Team OG outscored UOG in the third period to increase their lead, while the Tritons could only muster nine points in the fourth quarter. Team OG finished off the game with 22 points in the final period to win 87-66.

Chris Connor led Team OG with 30 points, while Alshae Grape added 16 points. Leading the Tritons were Diane' "D" Blackmon with 20 points, Cisco Uncango with 17, and Matt Santos with 15. UOG finished the regular season with a 1-9 record.

In other games on Saturday, the KFC Bombers opened the triple header with an NBA-styled 128-113 victory over the M.B.I. Four-Stars as both teams had high octane offenses on the day.

The Four-Stars led 35-31 after the first quarter and had a 61-59 lead at halftime. In the third period, the Bombers exploded for 42 points and led 101-89 going into the fourth quarter. The Bombers were not challenged in the final 10 minutes of the game and won 128-113.

Divine Cox led the Bombers with 45 points, while Rod Simina led the Four-Stars with 44 points.

In the day's final game, the MVP Stars defeated Team Wu Tang 97-83. Wu Tang made a game of it for the first half as they trailed by five points, 29-24, at the end of the first quarter and again at halftime, 48-43. The MVPs led by 15 points entering the fourth period and won with a final score of 97-83.

Joe Blas for the MVPs and Dana Holmes for Team Wu Tang were the top scores of the night with 31 points each. The MVPs are the #1 Seed in the Triton League Playoffs with a 9-1 record and will play the winner of the Team OG and Team Four-Stars game at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Triton League Championship is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on Friday, April 22.
