The 2nd University of Guam College of Natural and Applied Sciences STEM Conference is extending its call for abstracts related to all CNAS specialties to Friday, March 11, 2022.

Abstracts related to CNAS specialties — including agriculture, biology, chemistry, computer sciences, technology, health science, and math — may be submitted by undergraduate and graduate students.  

Abstracts must:

  • Be 350 words or less
  • Provide a quick overview of the research
  • Include a hypothesis, thesis, methods, results, and any implications or applications of the study

This conference will take place online from April 22–23, 2022.

About the UOG CNAS STEM Conference

The 2nd UOG CNAS STEM Conference is a student-led event that provides an accessible platform for students — especially from the Pacific — to present their research, gain access to STEM opportunities, and network with peers and potential mentors. The theme of the conference is “Strengthening the Roots of STEM.”

The conference is open to all students and individuals interested in learning about science on a professional platform. It will be held online through Zoom and the Whova platform.
