Micronesian Educator, a journal of the School of Education, is accepting submissions of scholarly articles on educational research for publication in its 32nd volume. 

The journal seeks papers that address student success, academic performance, pedagogical problems, and examples and case studies of student engagement in higher education. Of particular interest will be papers related to faculty or student success, self-care experiences, and challenges during online learning and the COVID-19 pandemic. Reports of research, descriptions of innovative teaching practices, and new empirical findings will also be considered. 

Submissions may include:

  • research papers (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed) 
  • essays in theory
  • position papers
  • opinion papers
  • action research (by faculty and graduate students)
  • creative writing (poetry, fiction, and personal essays)
  • book reviews
  • teaching tips

Submissions due: Jan. 31, 2022

Expected publication date: June 2022
