More than 100 people came out for the 12th annual Math Day hosted by the University of Guam Division of Mathematics & Computer Science on Nov. 19, including five schools that competed in the Math Quiz Competition. 

The participants also got to hear from visiting mathematician Michael Dorff, a professor from Brigham Young University (Utah) and former president of the Mathematical Association of America, who taught the teens about the application of mathematics in movies.

Calculus Division
1st Place: Edward Ju and Jake Tae
2nd Place Tie: Kelvin Lee and Luke Jang; Kangsan Yoon and Charles Wei; Lulu Shao and Taiyo Tagami
 
Pre-Calculus Division
