Celebrating diversity, inclusion on May 1 at "Tritons Out Loud 2023"

The 61st Student Government Association at the University of Guam will host "Tritons Out Loud 2023" as a way of celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion through our island wisdom values of inadahi yan inagofli'e: respect, compassion, and community.

The event's activities are free! "Tritons Out Loud 2023" will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, May 1, at the UOG Calvo Field House.
 
There will be:

  • Free food plates for the first 300 students who complete an event passport
  • Raffle prizes for Shell, Macy's, Dusit Thani Guam Resort, and Tsubaki Tower
  • “Hot Seat” talk show with professors Dr. Corey Ross, Dr. Michelle Santos, and Dr. Debra Cabrera
  • A fashion show to raise awareness about sustainability
  • Cultural performances by student organizations
  • Small business pop-up booths owned by Tritons
  • Outreach and game booths hosted by student organizations
  • An art gallery
  • Free photo booth
  • A talent showcase consisting of poetry, musical acts, and more.  

Food trucks Lynn’s BBQ Stixx and Manang Pika will also sell food during or after the distribution of the free food plates.
