The UOG Lady Tritons collected their second win of the season on Tuesday night, June 10th, in the UOG Calvo Field House with an 8-2 victory over Quality Distributors in the GFA Lady Futsal League. Abigail San Gil scored six goals for the Tritons on the night, while Olivia Leon Guerrero scored the other two goals for UOG.
UOG took an early 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals by Abigail San Gil in the 11th and 12th minutes. Quality responded with a goal in the 14th minute to make it 2-1, but UOG maintained control. Olivia Leon Guerrero added a goal in the 18th minute, and San Gil completed her first hat trick by the 21st minute, giving UOG a 4-1 advantage at halftime.
UOG and Quality matched the same score in the 2nd half, with UOG winning the 2nd half 4-1 and the match 8-2.
UOG is 2-4-1 after seven matches in the league. Quality Distributors are 0-7-0 for the first half of the season.
