UOG Opens Applications for Second Doctoral Cohort, Hosts Information Sessions

The University of Guam School of Education is pleased to announce that applications for the second cohort of its Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instructional and Academic Leadership program — Guam’s first and only doctoral-level program in education — will be accepted from June 6 to August 1, 2025.
Prospective students can learn more at upcoming information sessions which will offer an indepth look at the curriculum, admissions process, and opportunities for professional advancement.
- In-person: Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. ChST
Room 131, UOG School of Business and Public Administration - Online via Zoom: Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. ChST
Interested individuals are encouraged to register for the information sessions by emailing SOE-EdD@triton.uog.edu.
The EdD program, launched in 2024. The inaugural cohort includes 25 students representing K–12, higher education, and government sectors from across Guam and broader Micronesia.
“We’re building a community of scholar-practitioners who will lead transformational change in education,” said Dr. Alicia Aguon, Dean of the School of Education. “This program is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of education in Guam and beyond.”
