On December 3, when having “Lady” in your team name was unfortunate, both the Lady Tritons and the Lady Bombers were swept 3–0 by Au Mana and Pacific VB Academy.
The Lady Tritons were defeated quickly by Au Mana. The first set was competitive, with Au Mana winning 25–20. However, sets two and three were not close, as Au Mana dominated 25–13 and 25–11.
Au Mana is now 3–1 this season, while the Lady Tritons fall to 0–4.
The Lady Bombers put up more of a fight against Pacific Volleyball Academy, but still lost 3–0. The first set was strong, although PVA pulled ahead to win 25–21. Set two became the turning point of the match, with PVA edging out a narrow 26–24 victory. The Bombers lost momentum in the third set and fell 25–13.
Both PVA and the Lady Bombers now hold 2–2 records in the Triton League.
The final day of regular-season competition is Sunday, December 7, with three scheduled matches:
Sunday, December 7:
3:00 p.m. – Pacific VB Academy vs. Rogues
4:45 p.m. – Au Mana vs. Lady Bombers
6:30 p.m. – Lady Tritons vs. Guam Pro
Playoffs in the Triton League begin Tuesday, December 9:
6:30 p.m. – #4 Seed vs. #5 Seed
8:15 p.m. – #3 Seed vs. #6 Seed
