Steven Youngblood introduced UOG students to the principles of peace journalism and shared insights on how these concepts could be applied to journalism in Guam.

Steven Youngblood, a three-time Fulbright Scholar and Luxembourg Peace Prize recipient, delivered a guest lecture to communication students at the University of Guam on Aug. 27, 2025 discussing AI, disinformation, and social media in journalism. Youngblood, founding director of the Center for Global Peace Journalism at Park University and Journalism Program Coordinator at the East-West Center, conducted a three-day training in Guam for journalists, marketing and public affairs professionals, and students.
