The game appeared to be an easy win for the KFC Bombers entering the fourth quarter, as they led Northern Construction by 18, 89–71, on Wednesday, December 10th. However, the never-say-quit Northern Construction team cut the lead to two points with a minute remaining. KFC held on to secure a 111–106 victory.

The Bombers started strong, scoring 27 points in the first quarter to take a 27–21 lead after 10 minutes. KFC continued its momentum in the second period, scoring 34 points. Frederick Kennedy contributed 11 points in the quarter, all his points in the game. Northern Construction scored 21 points again in the second quarter, trailing 61–42 at halftime.
 
The Bombers maintained their lead in the third period, scoring 27 points while Northern Construction added 28. At the start of the fourth quarter, Northern Construction found a spark in Rovi Mesina. He scored 18 points in the final period, including nine from the free-throw line. Mesina cut the KFC lead to 108–106 with just under a minute remaining. However, the Bombers held on and converted their free throws late to win 111–106.
 
The KFC Bombers were led by Charles Wingate with 27 points, while AJ Grape added 18. Rovi Mesina scored 31 points for Northern Construction, and Eric Ruiz contributed 25.
 
The KFC Bombers improved to 8–1 on the season, while Northern Construction fell to 6–3 on the Triton season.
 
The KFC Bombers advance to play the Guam Nationals in the championship game of the Triton Men’s Basketball League. The Guam Nationals advanced after winning by forfeit over the Guam Select U17 team, which is competing in Samoa this week in a FIBA Under-17 tournament.

The first meeting between the two teams during the regular season resulted in a 120–117 Guam Nationals victory in double overtime.
