UOG Students Invited to Enter the Triton Art Contest

The winning artist will receive a $500 prize, and their artwork will be featured on the Senior Vice President’s next greeting card.

The theme for the contest is “Tritons Thriving Together.” Artists are encouraged to think about how compassion, collaboration, and mutual support help the Triton community grow, learn, and thrive—both inside and beyond the classroom at UOG.

The following are additional contest guidelines:

Eligibility

• Open to all University of Guam students (undergraduate and graduate, full time and part time) currently enrolled for the Fanuchånan (Fall) 2025 semester
• Limit of one (1) submission per student

Artwork

• Must be original, individual work (no AI-generated or copied work; no collaborative or group submissions)
• Can be created in any medium (e.g., digital illustration, painting, drawing, photography, mixed media), but must be submitted as a digital file
• Submit as a high-resolution JPEG or PNG (minimum 300 dpi)
• Must reflect the contest theme
• Must be appropriate for a general audience

Submission Process 

• Submissions should be sent to svppoffice@triton.uog.edu
• Include the following in the email of your submission:
  • Full name
  • Degree program
  • Title of the artwork

The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, October 3, 2025.
