The Monarchs got revenge over the Big Digs for their lone loss of the season, a classic five-set match that the Big Digs won 15-13 in the fifth set. The Monarchs were not going to let the Big Digs get that close again

The Monarchs came out with a hard-hitting offense and won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-21. The Big Digs stayed close, but their offense was not in rhythm for most of the night. Many of their points came from Monarch's errors rather than forcing the action

The Big Digs came out firing with their backs against the wall, down 2-0. They won the third set 25-17 and dominated the set. However, the Monarchs were determined to avoid a fifth set. They fought off one set point in the fourth set and won the set and the match 26-24

The Monarchs finished the season at 5-1, while the Big Digs also finished at 5-1

In the third-place match, the UOG Tritons played one of their best matches of the season and fought hard. However, the Andersen Bombers were too much for them, using their height and strength against the young UOG squad

Andersen won the first set 25-22. The Tritons responded in the second set, with UOG winning 27-25 to tie the match at 1-1. The Bombers won another close third set 25-21 and secured the match with a 25-20 win in the fourth set

The Bombers finished the season at 3-3, while the Tritons ended at 1-6

The Triton Men's Volleyball League also named a 15-member All-League Team and selected the league’s Most Valuable Player
