The University of Guam Theatre proudly presents A Doll’s House, Part 2, written by Lucas Hnath and directed by Miren Sofia Jordana. This production will run for three evenings from April 30 to May 2 at 7:00 p.m., with an additional matinee performance on May 3rd at 3pm.
The production features a cast and crew drawn from across the island, including University of Guam students, alumni, and community members. Set 15 years after the events of A Doll’s House by Henrik Ibsen, A Doll’s House, Part 2 revisits Nora Helmer as she returns to the home she once left behind. The play explores themes of marriage, independence, and societal expectations, offering a modern perspective on a classic story.
Director Miren Sofia Jordana shares, “Even though A Doll's House, Part 2 lives in the world of Ibsen’s A Doll's House, its questions about autonomy and responsibility feel timeless. With such a talented cast and crew bringing Lucas Hnath’s words to life, the story feels immediate and remains deeply relevant.”
Tickets will be available at the door (cash only) for each performance. General admission is $20, while manåmko’ and youth tickets are $15. Admission is free for all University of Guam students with a valid ID. For more information or to reserve seats, please contact (671) 735-2700.
