In the nightcap, the league-leading Rogues were without big hitter Faith Piper. The Lady Tritons took advantage and jumped on the Rogues in the first two sets of the match, as UOG won 25–22 and 25–23 to take a 2–0 lead. The Rogues responded in the third set, winning easily 25–14. They also won a tougher fourth set, 25–19, tying the match at 2–2.
 
The fifth set to 15 was never a contest, as the Rogues went up 8–0 when the teams switched sides of the court. It was 13–0 before UOG finally scored. The Rogues won the set and the match, 15–2.
 
The Rogues are now 3–0, while the Lady Tritons drop to 0–2.
 
The Lady Bombers beat Guam Pro even with Guam Pro coach Oksana Chernyshova playing in the match. The Bombers won the first set 25–19, and Guam Pro came back to win the second set 25–23.
 
Chernyshova came off the bench to play for Guam Pro in the third set, but the team still lost 25–16. She then played the entire fourth set. The former professional volleyball player was very effective with her powerful spikes and strong serving, helping keep Guam Pro in the set. However, the Lady Bombers still managed to win a thrilling set, 31–29.
 
The Lady Bombers improve to 2–1 in the league, while Guam Pro falls to 1–2.
 
The Lady Triton Volleyball League will play a make-up match on Sunday from last week’s canceled matches due to a power outage at UOG:
