Earlier this evening, Governor Leon Guerrero released Executive Order 2026-01 Relative to Declaring a State of Emergency in Anticipation of the Approach of Tropical Storm Sinlaku.

Please read the attached EO and be guided accordingly.  

The Governor intends to place the island in COR 2 at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 12. Under COR 2, non-emergency GovGuam offices — including the University of Guam — will close until the island returns to COR 4.

All UOG events and activities will be canceled or rescheduled while the island is in COR 2.

Employees and students are encouraged to monitor UOG email and official social media channels for timely updates on campus operations and class schedules.
