As our island begins the recovery process following the passage of Super Typhoon Bavi, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well. We recognize that many members of our University community may still be dealing with the storm's impacts at home and in their neighborhoods. Thank you for your resilience, patience, and commitment to supporting one another during this time.

With the declaration of Condition of Readiness 4 (COR4) at 10 a.m. today, the University of Guam advises the campus community of the following:

• Faculty, staff, and administrators are asked to report to campus within two hours of the declaration of COR4, unless otherwise directed by their supervisor.

• Upon returning, employees are asked to assess their offices and facilities for any damage or safety concerns and assist with campus clean-up efforts as needed.

• Please use caution when traveling to campus. Roadways may still have debris, flooding, or other hazards. Employees who are unable to safely report to campus or who anticipate delays should contact their supervisor to discuss schedule adjustments.

• As previously announced, Finakpo' Session C classes have been delayed until Wednesday. If campus facilities are not fully operational, deans and faculty should make appropriate alternate instructional arrangements and communicate those plans directly with students.

The safety of our students, employees, and visitors remains our highest priority. We appreciate the patience, flexibility, and cooperation of our campus community as we work together to safely restore normal campus operations. Additional updates will be shared as conditions warrant.
