Håfa Adai, UOG Students:

On behalf of the Board of Regents and the administration of the University of Guam, I want to thank you all for your perseverance throughout the pandemic. We are humbled and energized by your dedication to your education.

We are pleased to inform you that the University of Guam will be returning to primarily in-person classes for Fanuchånan 2022 beginning in August. We are very excited! Registration for the Finakpo’ Summer Sessions is currently ongoing, and in the next few weeks, registration for Fanuchånan 2022 registration will open. Note that approved online and hybrid courses are still available as reflected in the course schedule.

In accordance with current DPHSS Guidelines, please note that proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or approved accommodations are no longer necessary to register and attend in-person classes in Finakpo’ 2022 or Fanuchånan 2022, unless required by specific courses such as practicum/internships. This includes on-campus activities such as training sessions, workshops, and other events.

However, all students are still highly encouraged to get vaccinated or boosted for those qualified, especially if at risk.

NOTE: These requirements will be updated should the Governor or DPHSS change guidance or procedures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are looking forward to seeing you on campus!
