OUR THEME: "TECH'S NEW NORMAL"
The UOG Office of Information Technology (OIT) is excited to present this year's theme for Charter Week and Tech Fest: "Tech's New Normal," where we will feature how technology is bridging people together, how it has encompassed education in Guam, and how it has sparked new hobbies during this pandemic.
As a special feature for the university's 53rd Charter Day, tune in to our week-long mini webinar series to learn about "Tech's New Normal" on Guam and get a chance at winning various prizes such as a gift card to Triton Store, Steam, Netflix, Google Play, Twitch, or a 1-year subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite!
The two previous Charter Days, we've hosted our annual Tech Fest; this year, we will be hosting a mini webinar series and a special contest as a teaser for something grand for our upcoming 3rd Annual Tech Fest over the summer.

Eligibility
- School Level: 9th Grade & Above
- "Above" includes college students, graduate students, UOG alumni/staff, and the general public
General Criteria & Guidelines
All criteria listed below must be followed upon submitting your design entry; failure to abide with our guidelines may be subject to disqualification. Should you have any questions, please email us at techfest@uog.edu
- Depict the theme "Tech's New Normal," please refer to the About section to learn more about the theme.
- Design must be appropriate for the general public and should not tarnish the image of the University of Guam (UOG).
- Design must be original, any plagiarized design will be subject to disqualification.
- Do not use any UOG logos.
- Must contain the words "Tech Fest" AND/OR "Tech's New Normal"
- Post your entry on Instagram:
- Use the hashtags #oittechfest2021 and #EducateInnovateConnect
- Tag us @uog_its
- Use 1-2 UOG branded colors listed below

File Submission
- File/image/artwork must be high resolution enough to be printed on a t-shirt
- Prefered file types: .eps, .svg, .ai, .psd
- If you are unable to provide the file types above, high resolution .jpeg or .png will suffice
- Deadline to submit your design will be on March 27, 2021, 11:59 p.m. (CHST+10), if entry passes the deadline, it will not be accepted.
Finalists Selection & Announcement
- The Tech Fest committee will decide the final awardee (1st place) based on a strict rubric below.
- The runner-up finalist (2nd place) will be decided by the general public with the most votes on a poll that we will anonymously administer online.
- We will announce the winners on our Instagram and will notify the winners via email on April 2, 2021.

We will be hosting two (2) sessions per day for most of the webinars, in case you're not able to make it to one of them. Prepare to answer some questions and mini activities from us during these sessions, we're giving out lots of prizes! You must be present to claim a prize!
