BenaventeUniversity of Guam Women's Soccer Player Elisha Benavente won the "Golden Boot" Award for the Guam Football Association's
Bud Light Women's Division Two League in the Fall Season of 2017. The Golden Boot
Award is given to the highest scorer in a league or tournament.
Benavente is a 2nd year player on the UOG Lady Triton team and scored 6 goals on the
season, two more than anyone else in the league. Lady Triton Aryiya Cruz was in a
three way tie for 2nd, with 4 goals on the season. The Tritons were the highest scoring
team in the GFA League with 22 goals in 4 matches.
The Lady Tritons open GFA BL D2 Playoffs on Sunday, November 19 at 3:15 p.m. at the
GFA National Training Center.
