The Fuetsa Basketball Club won the Trident Women's Basketball League Championship on Saturday afternoon in the UOG Calvo Field House by beating Guam Community College 65-49.

The game was the 3rd victory for Fuetsa BC over the GCC squad during the TWBL season. Both squads started with only 6 players each in the first few minutes of the game, but both teams did pick-up more players as the game proceeded.

The game was a bit slow and plodding as Fuetsa was missing several of their better scorers on the day but Team Fuetsa was able to the take the lead for good in the 2nd quarter and while Fuetsa could never pull too far away, GCC never made a serious run to take the lead or tie the game.

Elisha Benavente led Fuetsa with 16 points and Shae Banez added 14 points. S. Amor led GCC with 15 points.

Fuetsa ended the season with a perfect 10-0 record while GCC was 7-3 with all of their losses to Fuetsa.
