UOG Women's Soccer opens season with 7-0 victory over Lady Bombers

The University of Guam Women's Soccer Team opened the 2018-2019 season in the Guam Football Federation's Bud Light Amateur Women's League with a 7-0 victory over the Lady Bombers on Oct. 28 at the GFA National Training Center.
UOG Defender Koholali’i Maertens opened the scoring from 35 yards out with a free kick to put UOG up 1-0 and take the air out of the Lady Bombers. UOG dominated the play from that point onward, as Elisha Benavente and Ariya Cruz scored three goals each, leading the Lady Tritons to the 7-0 victory.

UOG is now 1-0-0 and plays again at 3:30 p.m. next Sunday, Nov. 4, against Team Mosas at the GFA Complex. See the full season schedule here.
