Newstalk K57 interviewed UOG Assistant Professor of Archaeology William Jeffery on May 30 regarding an upcoming maritime archaeology field school in Chuuk that he will be leading. The field school, funded by UNESCO and the Federated States of Micronesia, aims to educate historic preservation officials in Micronesia on how to document and preserve underwater cultural heritage, including shipwrecks, fish weirs, sunken cities, and more.
