The Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies announced three newly appointed members to its Board of Governors for 2019, including UOG Vice President for Administration and Finance Randall V. Wiegand.

Wiegand represents the University of Guam Board of Regents Investment Committee.

Prior to his current role at the University, he served 11 and a half years at the Guam Power Authority as chief financial officer -- four years of which he also served as CFO for GPA and the Guam Waterworks Authority. 

He is also a member of the board that oversees the use of the Guam Accountancy Endowment Fund and the treasurer of the Research Corporation of the University of Guam.

He holds a bachelor’s in business finance from Seattle Pacific University and an MBA from the University of Washington with an emphasis in finance and international business.

Aside from these, he is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Government Financial Manager, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
