The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team has the lead in the Guam Football Association's Budweiser Amateur Men's League over the Islanders FC and the GWM Bombers SC.

UOG leads with a 9-1-0 record and 27 points. The Islanders have a 8-2-1 record and 25 points, and the Bombers have a 7-1-1 record and 22 points. No other team is within 11 points of the Tritons.

UOG, with the top offense of the league, will play the Bombers, with the top defense in the league, for a second time at 7 p.m. on March 8 at the GFA National Training Center. UOG averages 8.7 goals per match, while the Bombers hold opponents to 1.2 goals a game. In the first match between the Tritons and the Bombers in November 2018, the Tritons won 2-0.

The UOG defense has allowed 15 goals on the year to average 1.50 goals per match, making UOG the second ranked defense in the league. Jake Uncangco, UOG's regular goalkeeper, averages 1.7 goals per match.

The UOG offense is led by Ryoga Okada, who has just taken over the scoring lead in the amateur division with 21 goals in six matches to average 3.5 goals per match. Dylan Naputi follows in fifth place with 12 goals. Hezekiah Cruz and Ichiyo Kawamata are in a tie with others for sixth place with 10 goals. Ryo Suzuki is also in the top 15 scorers with seven goals.

The Tritons lead the league with the most team goals scored with 87, while the Bombers are second in goals scored with 54. UOG has the best goal differential with 87 total goals scored to 15 goals given up for a 72-goal difference. The Bombers are also in second place for this category as well with a 43-goal differential.

The Tritons (9-1-0) will face the GWM Bombers SC (7-1-1) at 7 p.m. on March 8 at the GFA National Training Center in what will be the best match on the Triton season schedule. Admission is free.
