The SW480 Family Violence class of the Social Work degree program at the University of Guam will be hosting a public forum about ending sexual misconduct on college campuses.

One in five women in college experience sexual assault, according to the Office on Women’s Health under the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

The forum will bring the subject to light with real testimonies from former students who have had first-hand experiences with sexual assault and the presentation of data from a statistics expert on sexual misconduct from seven Micronesian campuses. Faculty who are actively involved in developing interventions to address campus sexual misconduct will also speak.
