The University of Guam Women's Basketball team has added another player for the 2019-2020 season. Jana Maria Mojas signed a UOG Athletic Letter of Intent and partial tuition scholarship to play for the Lady Tritons in the coming season.
Mojas is a member of the Okkoko High School Class of 2016 that won the IIIAAG Girls Basketball Championship that year. The Okkodo team finished third in 2017.
Mojas played for the Bulldogs club team that played in the Dreamers Tournament in the Philippines. She also played in the Elite Basketball League on Guam in 2017 and won the 18 and Under Division.
She was part of the Okkodo girls volleyball team that finished in third place in 2016 and was an Honorable Mention All-Island in volleyball in 2017.
The University of Guam opens the season in the PBS Guam Women's Basketball League that starts either in late August or early September.
