The University of Guam Women's Basketball team signed Niah Siguenza to a UOG Athletic Letter of Intent and partial tuition scholarship to play basketball for the Lady Tritons in 2019-20.

Siguenza was a standout girls basketball player at St. Paul's Christian School where she was a four-time All-Island player for the Warriors. She won two IIAAG Girls Basketball Championships for the school and was captain of the team.

She was named the Most Valuable Player in 2018 for the Asian Christian School Conference and was a three-time member of the ACSC All-Tournament team.

Siguenza was also named All-Island in Girls Volleyball for St. Paul's twice in the IIAAG and was the MVP for the ACSC Volleyball Championship in 2018. She was also a two-time recipient of the All-Tournament title for the ACSC Volleyball Tournament.

She was an A Honor Roll student at St. Paul's.

The Lady Tritons will open the season at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, against the Master's All-Stars in the UOG Calvo Field House. A second game will follow as the UOG Trident club team will face the defending champions, the Fuetsa Basketball Club at 8:15 p.m.
