The University of Guam community greeted students on their first day of classes this week with cheers, smiles, and the three-finger Trident symbol. The university is welcoming 563 new undergraduate and 51 new graduate students this school year.

The undergraduate programs with the highest number of declared students are business administration, pre-nursing, and biology, while the Master of Public Administration program has the highest number of students at the graduate level. This is also the first year for the University’s new Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree program, which has 111 declared majors.
