The University of Guam Men's Basketball Team welcomes the return of Logan Hopkins to the Tritons for 2019-2020. The marine biology major returned to Guam for his second year of basketball competition as a Triton by signing a UOG Athletic Letter of Intent.

The 5'10" junior played his freshmen year at Texas Lutheran University in San Antonio but transferred to the University of Guam for the start of the 2018-2019 academic year.

Averaging 34 points per game for the Tritons against any level of competition, Hopkins earned the title of Student-Athlete of the Year for Triton Athletics in 2018-2019 as well as the team's Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player.

The Men's Basketball Team struggled through a 5-18 season after going 30-0 in 2017-2018, but Hopkins earned recognition with his offensive mainstay of swishing three-point shots, even against teams with several 6'4" players.

The Tritons have added 10-11 new players to the team this year and begin play in the Triton Men's Basketball League on Oct. 14. The game will be shown live on PBS Guam. The opening Triton opponent will be named on Sept. 9.
