The University of Guam Board of Regents passed the following resolutions at its regular meeting on Feb. 13, 2020:

  • Resolution 20-01
    Updates the Drug-Free Workplace Policy of the University of Guam
  • Resolution 20-02
    Approves the updated salary pay scale for administrators with revised position descriptions based on the University of Guam Para Hulo' Strategic Plan and revised organizational chart.
    • Revised position titles include:
      • Dr. Anita Borja Enriquez, Senior Vice President and Provost
      • Deborah Leon Guerrero, Vice Provost for Institutional Effectiveness
      • Dr. Troy McVey, Vice Provost for Academic Excellence, Graduate Studies & Online Learning
      • Dr. Rachael Leon Guerrero, Vice Provost for Research & Sponsored Programs
      • Randy Wiegand, Vice President of Administration & Finance and Chief Business Officer
      • David Okada, Interim Chief of Staff and Board Liaison
      • Jim Hollyer, Acting Chief Planning Officer
      • Jonas Macapinlac, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer
      • Carlos Taitano, Director of Global Learning & Engagement
      • Norman Analista, Director of Development, Alumni Affairs & Foundation Relations and Interim Director of University Events Office
      • Mark Duarte, Director of Financial Aid and Triton One-Stop
      • Janet Dirige, Director of Contracts and Grants
    • Organizational chart and department name revisions include:
      • Integrated Marketing Communications becomes Marketing and Communications
      • Auxiliary Services joins Marketing and Communications
      • Triton Athletics joins Enrollment Management & Student Success
      • Professional & International Programs becomes Global Learning & Engagement
      • A new University Events Office joins Global Learning & Engagement
  • Resolution 20-03
    Approves the FY 2021 General Operations Budget of $37.4 million and Special Appropriations Budget of $1.7 million
  • Resolution 20-04
    Approves the Student Financial Assistance Program FY 2021 Budget of $4.3 million
  • Resolution 20-05
    Modifies the UOG Procurement Regulations to allow for blanket purchase agreements
