The AmeriCorps UOG Volunteer Center is accepting student applications until Dec. 31 to begin working with AmeriCorps in January 2021. There are 106 slots to fill.
Serving with AmeriCorps allows students to make a difference here in Guam through community service in the areas of education, environmental stewardship, disaster services, and capacity building while earning money for school.
Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
- At least 17 years of age
- High school diploma
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number
Members who are enrolled in the program qualify for the following benefits:
- Monthly living allowance of $528
- $3,047.50 scholarship upon successful completion of a 12-month term with 900 hours of service
- A wide variety of professional development trainings
How to apply
Online applications are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED but not required. Apply online at the link below or by scanning the QR codes below.
Applicants may also pick up an application from the AmeriCorps UOG Volunteer Center in front of the Field House or from UOG's Human Resources Office in the Administration Building. Completed applications should be delivered to the UOG Human Resources Office.
Applications are due Thursday, Dec. 31.
