Faculty and researchers: Enhance your research mentoring skills

Faculty or researchers interested in enhancing their research mentoring skills are encouraged to register for the Mentor Enhancement training series. The trainings will be held online from 11 a.m. to noon on Fridays from Oct. 22 to Dec. 17. Registration is limited to 10 participants. Certificates of completion will be awarded to those who complete all sessions.
Topics will include:
- Aligning expectations
- Promoting professional development
- Maintaining effective communication
- Addressing equity and inclusion
- Assessing understanding
- Fostering independence
- Cultivating ethical behavior
- Articulating your mentoring philosophy and plan
