Guahan's native beach vines: Weaving sand and culture together

A stroll on the beach together with my kids and dog can be extremely relaxing after a long workday. Feeling the sand and refreshing water underneath my feet is very soothing.

But most of all, I enjoy the atmosphere created by the tranquil colors surrounding our island’s beaches. Only the ocean can paint such a stunning palette of blue colors.

Our island’s natural beach vegetation is no different; trees, shrubs, and other plants decorate our shores.
