Join the AmeriCorps UOG team to serve the community while earning money for school!
The AmeriCorps UOG Volunteer Center is accepting applications for the upcoming program
year. More than 70 slots are available.
The deadline to apply is May 30.
To be eligible you must meet these criteria:
- 17 years of age or older
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- be a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- pass criminal history checks
- be able to serve 20–25 hours per week from Monday through Friday and an additional four hours on Saturdays
Members who are enrolled in the program qualify for the following benefits:
- monthly living allowance of $528 before taxes
- $3,097.50 scholarship award upon successful completion of a 12-month term with 900 hours of service
- a wide variety of professional development trainings to develop leadership skills for life
