In a recent article in the Pacific Daily News, it was reported that the CCU approved GPA’s plan for renewable energy. It was mentioned that Guam is planning to obtain 50% of its electricity from renewable energy by 2030. In the same article it also mentioned that “Guam doesn’t have the wind or large rivers necessary to affordably incorporate other types of renewable energy.”
This reminded me of a few articles that I have previously written in which I listed other resources that Guam has and could possibly be used to obtain renewable energy, … (such as) the large amount of waste that Guam produces daily.
