The University of Guam’s Online Teaching Resources Team is offering a certificate course from July 28 to Aug. 11, 2023, to help faculty gain skills for online teaching and learning.
Title: Foundations Certificate Course
When: July 28 to Aug. 11, 2023
What is it about:
In this online teaching certificate course, participants will learn about online teaching theory and practice, course design, and student engagement. Participants will evaluate their own teaching practices and materials to learn how to effectively transition from a face-to-face curriculum to a hybrid or fully online (asynchronous) course delivery.
Additionally, participants will learn, practice, and demonstrate foundational online teaching techniques using many of the resources and activities on Moodle. Participants will complete this course with their own high-quality online course syllabus and a bundle of essential Moodle skills.
