Over the next few years, the University of Guam Campus will grow, adding a new Student Services Center, a School of Engineering building, a Nursing Annex for the Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health, and a new facility for the Water and Environmental Research Institute (WERI). These buildings will add approximately 85,000 square feet of classrooms, office space, laboratories, collaboration spaces, and areas for students to gather, study, and socialize.

The Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center will be constructed on the site of the old Student Center across from the UOG Calvo Field House. The building will be home to Enrollment Management and Student Success offices including Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Life, the Student Government Association, and more. The new building will also include the Triton Store, dining hall, and banquet room, and meeting spaces.

The 16,000-square-foot building project that will house the School of Engineering will meet the need for more locally educated engineers in Guam and other islands in the Western Pacific.

The Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health will get a new, 12,540-square-foot Nursing Annex. The two-story additional building will facilitate the training of more nurses within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and accommodate new programs.

The Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific will get a new, 13,000-square-foot building on Dean’s Circle. This will double the space of its existing Water Quality Lab and accommodate additional equipment that will expand the volume and types of work the lab can do.
