UOG Women’s Soccer lost on Tuesday night, April 29, to Guam Shipyard 6-1 at the Astumbo Gym in Dededo.
The lone Triton score was by Isabella Clement at the 21-minute mark of the first half. The Lady Tritons played a good first half for the second time this season, but Guam Shipyard pulled away during the second half.
UOG trailed 2-0 when Clement scored to make it 2-1, but Shipyard added a late first-half goal to make it 3-1 at halftime. Shipyard then added three more goals in the second half.
Guam Shipyard was led by Maya Inarte with two goals, while four other players scored for the Shipyard.
UOG is 0-2 in the Guam Football Association Lady Futsal League, while Guam Shipyard improved to 2-0.
The Tritons play the Lady Cobras next Thursday at 8:00 pm at Astumbo Gym, while the Shipyard plays the Bank of Guam Strykers on Thursday at 7:00 pm in Astumbo Gym.
