Nicky Castro, Program Coordinator III / Advisement Specialist at the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, works with an incoming student at the Triton One-Stop Registration Event. The One-Stop brings together multiple campus services in one location, including admissions, advising, financial aid, health services, and the Bursar’s Office and will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 22, 25, and 29 at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (2nd floor, School of Business & Public Administration Building).

The Triton spirit is in full swing this week as the University of Guam opened the Fanuchånan (Fall) 2025 semester with the return of students, faculty, and campus life across the Mangilao campus.

In a message to the campus community, UOG President Anita Borja Enriquez encouraged students, faculty, and staff to embrace the opportunities of a new academic year.

“The Fanuchånan semester marks more than the return to classes and to campus. It is a time of renewal, momentum, and possibility,” Enriquez said. “Each of us, in our roles across this campus and community, contributes to something greater.”

The semester began with Welcome Back festivities hosted by the 64th Student Government Association, featuring student clubs, campus organizations, and university services at the Calvo Field House.

Students returning to campus will notice significant progress in UOG’s physical transformation. Four new facilities are nearing completion — the Dr. Lucio C. Tan Student Success Center, School of Engineering Building, Water and Environmental Research Institute (WERI) Building, and the Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health Nursing Annex — totaling more than 85,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, collaboration spaces, and student amenities.
