Each award includes a medallion and plaque engraved with Palulap’s image, and a formal citation summarizing the recipient’s contributions.

Awards are solicited once every three years and is only granted to nominees clearly demonstrating an extraordinary contribution.

The deadline to submit nominations is 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026.

Eligible nominees must not be employed, enrolled, or under contract with UOG. The award may be granted posthumously and may be given to no more than two recipients per cycle. Full details, eligibility criteria, and the nomination form are available at www.uog.edu/faculty-senate/palulap-award.

The award will be presented during the Fanuchånan 2026 Faculty Convocation in August of next year.
