The Art of Giving: UOG Endowment Foundation Brings Art, Culture, and Philanthropy to Micronesia Mall

10/23/2026

Where creativity meets generosity, a masterpiece of giving begins.

The University of Guam Endowment Foundation invites island residents and visitors to experience The Art of Giving, a three-day celebration of art, creativity, and philanthropy, taking place October 27–29, 2026, at Micronesia Mall, Concourse 1, Suite 105 (across from Ediya Coffee).

Featuring artwork by UOG students, faculty, alumni, and friends of the University, the event will transform a space within Micronesia Mall into a vibrant showcase of artistic expression and community connection.

More than an art showing, The Art of Giving invites locals and tourists alike to discover Guam's creative talent and experience the island beyond its scenic attractions. Guests can explore the gallery, appreciate works by emerging and established artists, and participate in a silent art auction. A special prize drawing will also take place at 6:30 p.m., with participants required to be present to win.

Where Creativity and Generosity Create Lasting Impact

Funds raised through The Art of Giving will support the UOG Endowment Foundation's ongoing mission and efforts to serve the University of Guam and its students, with a portion of the proceeds dedicated to student scholarships.

The event also marks the official kickoff of the Foundation's annual G is for Giving Campaign, a year-end philanthropic initiative encouraging individuals, businesses, alumni, and friends of the University to embrace the spirit of generosity through December 31, 2026.

UOG Endowment Foundation Executive Director Katrina T. Perez emphasized the event's connection to the Foundation's mission:

"Through The Art of Giving, we're not only celebrating the incredible talent within our University community, but also inviting residents and visitors to become part of something meaningful. Every work of art reflects a story, and every act of giving helps us continue supporting the University of Guam and the future of our island. This is what the art of giving truly represents — connecting people, purpose, and philanthropy to create a lasting impact."
