COMPASS: A USDA NextGen Program
The first group of COMPASS interns shared their insights and newfound skills at a student symposium.
The program is working to develop the next generation of diverse food and agriculture professionals.
CNAS brought together the six collaborating institutions of its new NextGen grant to start planning.
A $10 million grant awarded to the University of Guam College of Natural & Applied Sciences will enhance agriculture and natural resources education in the Mariana Islands.
This program is supported by USDA NIFA's “From Learning to Leading: Cultivating the Next Generation of Diverse Food and Agriculture Professionals” (NextGen) program, Award No. 2023-70440-40178.
