T.H.E.M PEER MENTORING PROGRAM

About T.H.E.M. Peer Mentoring

Starting college is a major transition, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. The T.H.E.M. Peer Mentoring Program (Tritons Helping Each Other as Mentors) connects first-year students with experienced, trained student leaders who provide guidance and support throughout the first-year experience.

Offered through the Triton Advising Center, the program pairs incoming students with peer mentors who help them navigate campus resources, strengthen academic habits, and become actively engaged in the UOG community. 

T.H.E.M. is designed to foster confidence, connection, and student success by providing consistent support and meaningful peer engagement. Mentors serve as approachable role models who help first-year students build the skills and mindset needed to thrive academically and personally.

 

Interested in becoming a peer mentor? Students who are passionate about leadership, service, and supporting fellow Tritons are encouraged to apply. To be considered, please submit your application through Handshake on Todu.
