Isla Center for the Arts
The display was the senior thesis exhibition for four graduating seniors and two recent
graduates of the University of Guam’s Fine Arts/Art Program.
Pieces of M.E. (Multicultural Expressions): UOG Senior Art Show 2009 featured a collection
of works produced during their tenure as undergraduate students and was the culmination
of the years spent learning, growing, and preparing to become professional artists.
The works seen in this show were reflections of the individual artists and their cultural
backgrounds including Chamorro, Korean, and Filipino. The show featured over seventy
works by Liann Castro, Sun Young Choi, Robyn Leon Guerrero, Dovana Madrelino, Armin
Resurreccion, and Greg Sablan and includes watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paintings,
