The University of Guam's Margaret Perez Hattori-Uchima School of Health is elevating nursing education through immersive high-fidelity and virtual simulation. Using advanced tools like SimX VR, vSim for Nursing, and Laerdal high-fidelity manikins, UOG provides students with realistic clinical practice that strengthens competence, confidence, and readiness for Guam's evolving healthcare needs.
The University of Guam Faculty Senate is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Palulap Medallion Award, one of UOG's highest honors recognizing individuals in the Guam community who exemplify academic freedom, integrity, shared governance, and principled leadership. The award, inspired by the legendary navigator Palulap, will be presented during the Fanuchånan 2026 Faculty Convocation. Nominations close on February 18, 2026.
