3rd Annual Research Conference Exhibition

  • This exhibition will include works of art that reflect the conference theme Building Strength & Sovereignty in the Pacific.

Visitors will be introduced to some of Guam's marine life, while tour guides highlight some of the ongoing research happening at the lab. Guests will have a chance to visit our observation tanks and get up close and personal with some of the critters that call our reefs home. 

We anticipate that tours will last approximately 30 minutes each. Reservations are recommended as seats are limited (24 max per time slot). To secure your spot, contact Dr. Atsushi Fujimura or Mikaella Ragazzo.

*Shuttle buses are provided at the top of the hill for transportations to the Marine Laboratory.

Legends of Our Islands

Tech Fest 2020: Bridging the Decade

The University of Guam has taken great steps to improve on its technology resources. 41st Annual Research Conference: Building Strength & Sovereignty in the Pacific

Friday, March 6, 2020

  • The University of Guam College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) Annual Research Conference is a multidisciplinary research conference platform for local, regional, and global scholars, scientists, visual and theatrical artists, and students to share their research and experiences. The committee accepts a range of proposals that include presentations of academic papers, illustrated talks, interactive panels and demonstrations, engaging performances and informative poster sessions. The objective of the Annual Research Conference is to provide a forum for intellectual engagement and discussions on issues related and unique to Oceania, a global resource endowed with significant ecological and cultural diversity. 

Inachá’igen Fino’ CHamoru 2020 (2020 CHamoru Language Competition) 

Theme:  I FINO’ CHAMORU: I Hila’ Nåna U Su’on Hit Mo’na (The CHamoru Language: The Mother Tongue Will Move Us Forward)
