ABOUT
Dr. Nina Charissa Aguilar Infantado joined the College of Natural & Applied Sciences as an assistant professor of biology in August 2026. She earned her Ph.D. in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on microbial biogeochemistry, environmental microbiology, bioinformatics, and multi-omics to investigate how microbial communities regulate carbon cycling and ecosystem function in terrestrial ecosystems.
