Join the University of Guam U54 Cancer Research Center Name the Colon Contest!
The contest is part of a campaign to raise awareness about colorectal cancer, which
ranks in the top five cancers with the highest incidence and mortality rates in Guam.
To enter the contest, fill out an entry form with a short explanation for choosing
your name. Submit your entry by May 4 in person or via email at GUnamethecolon@gmail.com.
The colon will be introduced to the Guam community at the Screen to Save Health Fair
at the Micronesia Mall on April 29.
People will have the opportunity to walk through the 20-foot long colon, and learn
more about CRC. Those who participate in a brief survey will receive a gift certificate,
and those age 50 and over.
