The University of Guam Men's Soccer Team ran its record to 9-1-0 and increased its winning streak to nine games as it routed the Omega Warriors 12-0 in the Guam Football Association Budweiser Amateur Men's League on Feb. 28 at the GFA National Training Center.

The Warriors only had nine players for the match, and the Tritons took full advantage, scoring quickly and often as the match was never close.

Ryoga Okada led the UOG team with five goals on the night. Okada now has 20 total goals for the season. Ichiyo Kawamata and Dylan Naputi scored two goals each while single goals were scored by Joe Quan, Ryo Suzuki, and James Wang.

The Tritons are now 9-1-0 and face the GWM Bombers SC at 7 p.m. next Friday night, March 8, at the GFA National Training Center. UOG defeated the Bombers in their first match 2-0, and this will be a very important match for the lead in the GFA Amateur Men's League. The Bombers going into this week were tied with the Islanders FC with 22 points while UOG has 21 points. But UOG has not played as many games as the Islanders or the Bombers.
